WELCOME TO TAHOE CHURCH
Whether you've been going to church your whole life or this is your very first time, we want you to feel completely at home here at Tahoe Church. We know visiting a church for the first time can feel a little awkward or even intimidating—but don’t worry. We’re here to walk you through everything you need to know so your first experience will go smoothly.
We meet every Sunday in-person at our church campus and online at 10:00 am.
HERES WHAT TO EXPECT:
CAMPUS
- Tahoe Church meets on our 52 acre property just off exit 194 from i80. Turn at the Tahoe Church sign and follow the paved road on our church campus. Here's the address: 10314 Hirschdale Rd, Truckee, CA 96161.
In the Summer (mid May - mid October) our church gatherings are held in our outdoor Amphitheater. You'll see the amphitheater on your right as you follow the road onto campus. We have plenty of seats covered in shade, but you may want to bring your sunglasses and some sun screen.
In the Winter, we meet at our main building. Follow the church road all the way past the amphitheater and down the hill. You'll see the building on your right.
PARKING
- We have a ton of free parking available for our gatherings on Sunday mornings. When you arrive at the Tahoe Church campus, you'll see spaces to park in the gravel on either side of the paved road all around the amphitheater and the main building. Find a space that works best for you!
GATHERINGS
- Our church gatherings are casual and contemporary. Feel free to wear relaxed casual clothes that you are comfortable in. You'll fit right in! We do our best to create a low pressure and low judgement space. Come as you are and learn more about Jesus.
- When you arrive, you can expect to be greeted at the entrance by a friendly member of our church. If you have any questions they will be happy to help. Feel free to grab a cup of free coffee or tea in the lobby. You can grab any seat you would like in the main gathering area.
- During the gathering, we will sing 3-5 songs of worship with our worship band. Feel free to join in singing, or just listen - whatever you are comfortable with. You can also expect to hear a sermon centered on the teachings of the Bible. This will usually last for around 35 minutes.

KIDS & YOUTH
- We have Sunday morning programming for kids from babies to middle schoolers. We take pride in making safe and engaging experiences that your kids will love!
- You can check in your babies and toddlers before the gathering starts at our nursery in the back of the amphitheater. We will have qualified volunteers there to greet you. They will gather info for you and your child to ensure a safe and secure experience for your family. If there are any concerns, our volunteers will reach out to you during the gathering to let you know. You are welcome to come check in on your child at any point during the gathering. Please enjoy the gathering and bring your slip to pick up your child afterwards. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our Kids Ministry Director at karina@tahoe.church.
- Kids in Pre-k through 5th grade meet in our outdoor kids area called the Grove. As you enter the campus, you will see the grove on your left immediately after driving onto the campus. You'll know you're in the right place when you see the big wooden walking bridge. You can check your kids in at the check-in tent in the Grove before the church gathering starts. We will have qualified volunteers there to greet you. They will gather info for you and your child to ensure a safe and secure experience for your family. If there are any concerns, our volunteers will reach out to you during the gathering to let you know. You are welcome to come check in on your child at any point during the gathering. - Our middle school students meet after worship for the main gathering. Students will meet in the back of the amphitheater after worship and walk together with our qualified volunteer leaders to our main building down the road. They will return back to the amphitheater before the gathering is over. They will play games and study the Bible together in a class designed just for them.
